Befriender Volunteer IN TAURANGA

This position provides regular contact such as personal visits, outings or phone calls with the client and a volunteer must be able to provide a long term commitment. Tasks include: To participate in all training required for the role as a befriender for Alzheimers Tauranga. To work with allocated families affected by dementia through support, visits and phone contact. To complete client records.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and due to our clients diagnosis, applicants must have a clear conversational level in English.
