Mount Mainstreet is the Mount Business Association (MBA). There are more than 220 members, all business members are located within our “Mainstreet” boundary. Our vision is to create a unique and lively downtown that enriches the business community, embraces history, celebrates the arts, preserves our natural environment and supports the community who visit us. We are a Mainstreet which promotes vibrancy, to instill a ‘sense of place’ in our community and a destination people want to visit. The Associations objectives are; Economic development: marketing our Mainstreet to increase visitation Members: provide a forum for networking and collaboration of members. Safety & Security: enhance safety and security of Mount Maunganui Destination Marketing: promote our unique assets Mount Maunganui has to offer Placemaking: To advocate for improvements and upkeep of our Mainstreet.
