ACVE is the New Zealand organisation for the global ICYE Federation - a network of partner countries working together to mobilise youth to become active global citizens. We host international volunteers and send young NZ volunteers abroad in long-term volunteering placements and charity partners, to not only upskill them within philanthropic service, but also increase their intercultural learning, cultural understanding and international dialogue; breaking down cultural barriers and stereotypes, and opening their eyes to the world. Our young people experience incredible personal growth and life-changing journeys on our programs, and have an overseas experience like no other.
